Bantam Gravel
Bantam Gravel is inert and large enough to form pockets for stagnant water to sit as beneficial bacteria form on the surface. This quality makes it perfect for drainage layers where excess water can collect. Our gravel can also be used as a growing medium for some plants as well as make a solid surface for moss to establish. Due to the natural color as well as the non-toxic coating of some of our gravel, these substrates can safely be used with both aquatic & non-aquatic animals.
